Abstract

This study analyzes the phenomenon of digital inequality from 2021 to 2025 and its influence on access to knowledge and employment opportunities. Employing a qualitative narrative study, this research explores lived experiences, documented stories, and narrative patterns from diverse communities affected by technological disparities. The findings reveal that individuals with limited digital access experience disadvantages in educational participation, skill development, job searching, and digital-based employment. Meanwhile, communities with full digital resources benefit from accelerated learning, expanded job opportunities, and greater economic mobility. The study emphasizes that digital inequality is not merely infrastructural but deeply rooted in socioeconomic, cultural, and educational conditions. Closing the digital gap requires comprehensive policies involving digital literacy development, infrastructure expansion, and inclusive technology initiatives.
